H+P magazine has over its thirty-year history encouraged generations of young riders and pony mad kids to pursue their passion for all things equestrian. Bourne Publishing Group re-established the new magazine in the autumn of 2005 as an iconic and readily accessible brand. Horse & Pony readers today are no less passionate about horses than their previous counterparts. They want to know all there is about horses and how to care for their favourite pony to the best of their abilities.

The magazine is aimed at all horse and pony mad girls (aged 7-11) who are enthusiastic and active riders but not necessarily horse owners. They have a high disposable income that they want to spend on equestrian items.

Regular features include equestrian fashion, top rider news and views, new-to-the-market products and shopping, as well as more traditional riding and horse-care practical articles, reader problem Q&A’s with experts and loads of reader giveaways each month.

Official sponsor of the Pony Club UK.
H&P Facts – 2.4 million horse riders in GB, 33% of riders are aged 5-15years, £165 million spent on equipment, saddlery and tack, £1200 million spent on direct upkeep (feed, medication and farriers).
Figures are taken from the National Equestrian Survey 1999 BETA Structural Report.
